The Walking Dead Question
I'm new to Walking Dead. One question I have is: Why do you see dead people in cars? Was the virus initially lethal, but in a non-zombie sort of way? Were people trying to escape virus and got stuck in traffic jams? Any answers or theories?

There are a million things that could have happened. A herd could've passed, been previously bitten, died of dehydration/ starvation, suicide, someone in the same car as them got bit, ran out of gas, etc. The list is endless really. People were initially trying to get to refugee centers which is why you see so many traffic jams. They were trying to escape the walkers not being infected through no contact because the majority (I am assuming) already knew that this is impossible. Or at least impossible to die from the fever without contact.

I think they were trapped by walkers/traffic and couldn't leave the car, or were to afraid to leave the car. So eventually they just died from dehydration or just killed them selves knowing they would never get out. That's alI can say really w/out spoilers.

I think they got trapped in tracii jams and the zombies attacked..........That or some one got bit and told no one and that zombie bit the people in that car then they turned into zombies then went from there.

Well it is like a vires it just goes around. And if you get it that would be really bad because you would be turned into a walking and at some point die.

They are locked in their cars when they dies, then they become walkers. Walkers will die without "food" slowly though.. but they can still die as walkers
